Thomas G. Musgrove

1956  - 2007

Mr. Musgrove, 50, of 5 Fay Road, Framingham, formerly of Leominster, died Thursday, Sept. 6, in his home.

Mr. Musgrove was born on Nov. 21, 1956, son of Kenneth and Mildred (Lawyer) Musgrove, and had lived in Framingham for the past few years. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner and Worcester State College. He worked for a taxi cab company in the Framingham area.

He is survived by his two sisters, Karen Colby of Leominster and Kristie Marchetti of Leominster; his stepmother, Constance Musgrove of Leominster; two stepsisters, Cindy Vargo of Leominster and Julie Drago of New Durham, N.H.; a stepbrother, Toby Pirro of Bethesda, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Louis G. Buratti Jr.

1957  - 2008

 Louis "Butch" G. Buratti, Jr., 50 years old, of Leominster, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 21, 2008. Mr. Buratti was born November 11, 1957 in Fitchburg, moved Leominster. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. He is survived by his father, Louis G. Buratti, Sr. and his significant other, Tee Cummings; his mother, Peggy L. (Foster) Montesion; his sisters, Marcia Aubin, Roberta Buratti-Aikey and Cheryl Shea; his fiancée, Barbara Person; his nieces, Stephanie Aubin, Kimberly Aubin and Jackie Aikey; and his nephews, Jason Aubin, Joshua Aubin, Matthew Aikey, Zachary Aikey, Stephen Person and Michael Person.  He was president of G G Global Corp. in Shirley, and was an entrepreneur for many years in transportation auditing and consulting. Lou was active in a Hepatitis C Support Group and was very active in the Massachusetts Hepatitis C Coalition and had started a Hep C Support website. He was also active in AA and helped people work towards obtaining their GED.

Burial was in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

 

John W Duffy

1957  -  2006

John W. Duffy, 49, of 106 Water St., died Wednesday, Dec. 20, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster after being stricken ill.

John was born in Winchester on August 4, 1957, and had lived in Leominster for most of his life. He attended Boston College and graduated from the New York Institute of Photography. . He was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster and a former member of the National Ski Patrol. John volunteered at the Multi Service Center in Leominster and at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston. He enjoyed photography, playing golf and watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

He is survived by his mother, Jane (Wight) Duffy of Leominster; two brothers, Peter F. Duffy and James W. Duffy and a sister, Susan Duffy-Gordon. His father, Francis V. Duffy Sr., died in 1985, and his brother, Francis V. Duffy Jr., died August 10, 2006.

Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield.
