Lewis "SUGARBEAR" Austin		Deceased	Died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 18, at the Knights of Columbus, 484 Lancaster St. He was 47 years old. He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Sorterup) Austin for 21 years, and was known by friends and family as a kind and generous man with a heart as big as all outdoors. Born in Shirley, he was a Newington, Conn. resident for the past 12 years.
Glenn L. DeBettencourt (Sr)	Palmer, Mass.	Got married to my wife (Kelley) of 27 years in 1981 a graduate of Ayer High (1981) We've lived as far away as Gallup N.M. where I built a Log Home for my Wife's sister. Came back here in 1984 and worked for BOSE Corp for 15 years. Worked for myself for awhile, remodeling, carpentry etc. Then most recently worked for Diamond RV in Hatfield, Mass where I was laid-off recently.	We have 5 grown kids, Glenn Jr, David, Matthew, Sarah and Bill, who is a Senior at Palmer High, where we live today. Our oldest Son is an Iraqi War Vet and lives in Leominster with his Wife (Molly) and new Daughter (Bella - see pic), our 1st Granddaughter! Dave, a former Marine lives in Indiana, Matt in Palmer, Sarah in Chicopee and Bill with us in Palmer. My wife works for the U.S. Post Office, and I'm between Jobs at the moment...1st time in nearly 30 years. My woodworking tools still keep me busy, though! Robert H. Fortin Jr.	Leominster Mass.		Robert H. Fortin Jr., 44, of 56 Manchester St., died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 in his home. Mr. Fortin was born in Fitchburg on July 23, 1961, and was a life long resident of Leominster. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1980 and worked as a draftsman for Wirefab Inc. in Worcester. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Leominster
Elena (Nelson) Dabney	Lunenburg Mass	Employed at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer, MA as Medical Staff Coordinator	Married 29 years to Lou Dabney. After living in Fitchburg for 7 years, we settled in Lunenburg and raised our two children (Louie, 28 and Diana, 25). Both children have left the nest, although our daughter returns frequently. I went back to work full-time once the kids were old enough and now instead of kids to look after, I have three dogs (Max, Molly and Meatball). David M. Pierce Jr.	Sterling, Mass.		Died on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 in his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Pierce was born in Leominster on Sept. 8, 1962, and had lived in Sterling for the past 25 years. He was a 1980 graduate of Leominster High School, and had worked at the former Admore Corp. in Sterling. David enjoyed woodworking, art and spending time with his family.

While I didn't graduate from LHS I did attend for 2 1/2 years 1977-1979 9th-11th grade, ended back in Fitchburg for half a year and then my entire Sr.year at Lunenburg HS class of '80. I traveled around the country for awhile and then settled back in Fitchburg for 2-3 years. Been in Boston for the last 23 years, Own my own home and was a single parent, My son now 22 years old and about to make me a grandfather at age 45! Like to hear from some old friends, lived on Castle St. in Leominster while at LHS
